Glass and Thermal Performance
The V400 Tuscany Series offers SunCoat and SunCoatMax Low-E glass paired with an Intercept spacer or foam spacer and argon gas. Milgard publishes a thermal chart with tested U-value and SHGC numbers for each glass build.
Milgard's V400 thermal chart lists U-values as low as 0.25 for SunCoat glass with a 4th surface coating and argon. SunCoatMax with a 4th surface coating and argon reaches U-values of 0.24 to 0.25 with SHGC as low as 0.16. These configurations carry Energy Star 7.0 qualification markers for Northern, North-Central, South-Central, and Southern zones.
